Terms of Service

1. The Service

Introtrace ("we," "us," "our") provides a script and proxy infrastructure designed to assist website owners ("Customers," "you") in recovering analytics data requests that may be blocked by browser extensions, privacy tools, or network filters.

Our service works by providing a JavaScript snippet that Customers can add to their websites. This script detects failed analytics requests and routes them through our proxy servers located in Canada, Poland, and Singapore.

Important: Introtrace is intended solely for recovering legitimate analytics data. It is NOT designed for, and must NOT be used for, serving advertisements to users who have ad-blocking software enabled.

2. Accounts and Security

You may use our basic script without creating an account. However, to access subscription features and analytics dashboards, you must create an account.

When creating an account, we collect your first name, last name, email address, organization name, and organization domain. We use One-Time Passwords (OTP) sent via email for authentication—no passwords are stored.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account and for all activities that occur under your Introtrace account.

3. Acceptable Use

By using Introtrace, you agree NOT to:

• Use the service to bypass user consent requirements under GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, CCPA, or any other applicable privacy legislation
• Use the service to deliver, inject, or display advertisements to users
• Use the service to distribute malware, spyware, or any malicious software
• Use the service for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit our infrastructure
• Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers

Customer Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Introtrace complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including obtaining any necessary consents from your website visitors.

4. Payments

Paid subscription plans are processed through Lemon Squeezy, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.

Introtrace does not directly collect, store, or process credit card information. All payment data is handled securely by Lemon Squeezy.

5. Data Processing

When your website visitors' requests pass through our proxy servers, we act as a "mere conduit." This means:

• We do NOT log, store, or retain any end-user data (IP addresses, request headers, payloads, or any personal information)
• Data is processed in volatile memory (RAM) only for the duration of the request
• Once the request is complete, no trace of the data remains on our servers

6. Limitation of Liability

Introtrace is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the individuals operating Introtrace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Introtrace in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the individuals operating Introtrace from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of third parties.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.
